Continuing their work with the Wye and Arun Canal Trust

A group of  pupils and their families returned to Loxwood in West Sussex to continue their restoration work on land near to the Wye and Arun Canal. This was completed with the assistance of the Conservation Mamager from the Wye and Arun Canal Trust.

Throughout the morning they planted in a mix of Hawthorn, Field Maple, Hornbeam and Hazel to form  a hedgerow around the area of land that they planted onto last winter.

The school hopes to continue their work with the Canal Trust in the Autumn of 2011.
