Farnborough Grange Nursery and Infant Community School, Hampshire

Farnborough Grange Nursery

Story so far:

Earlier on this year an area within their raised gardens was designated as the new Tree Nursery and it was cleared and working parties of children planted beach and willow whips during the spring term.

These trees will be looked after by the children until they are ready to be planted out along the brook that runs along the back of the school and beside the M3.

Over the summer term these trees were cared for by children in Years 1 and 2, watering and weeding.

The school planted a further 50 saplings into their School Tree Nursery in January 2011.
