Holywell C of E Primary School, Cambridgeshire

Deputy Headteacher Claire MacDonald has provided this feedback on the school’s tree nursery, which they started planting in February 2013:

The tree planting is going well! We have housed some temporarily in buckets of soil in the quad area of the school. This was so as to not plant them out when we had loads of snow here. The ground was very hard to dig. Last week we begun planting the first 10, and now it is freezing again. Hopefully it will warm up and we will be planting the rest by the end of next week. My Eco club are very excited to have the tree nursery in what was previously their allotment area. We will still have one section of the allotment area.
